Hong Kong-based Metrojet Limited, a business aviation service provider based in Hong Kong with presence throughout Asia Pacific, is pleased to announce that their Head of Safety and Quality – Mr. Kent Wong – has been elected to be on the Standards Board of The International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO), effective from 1 January 2019. The IS-BAO Standards Board is the decision making body for all changes to the standards contained in the IS-BAO and the Audit Procedures Manual.

IS-BAO was developed by the business aviation community and is maintained by the IS-BAO Standards Board composed by a group of business aviation subject matter experts nominated by The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) member associations. Mr. Kent Wong was nominated by the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) based on his experience and exposure in aviation safety and quality. He oversees Metrojet’s Safety Management System which incorporates international best practice into all processes and procedures, thereby mitigating hazards and significantly enhancing safety culture.
