Client Services Officer

Job Descriptions:

  • First point of contact between client and Metrojet flight operations services
  • Responsible for managing and overseeing the successful completion of each client trip and any other post and preflight issues, enquiries and client requests
  • Response to all client messages to assist in their specific enquiries, new flight reservation requests and changes on the existing reservations, in a prompt, consultative, personalized and efficient way in order to guarantee that the client needs are met and exceeded
  • Provide information to client regarding airports, restrictions, aircraft performance, documents required for travel and other details in order to deliver an uncompromisingly and efficient level of services
  • Update the flight details of new reservations and or changes accurately and promptly in the scheduling system – Flight Operation System (“FOS”) to ensure that all relevant departments have the correct and necessary data to fulfill client request
  • Obtain landing and overfly permit, airport runway slot and parking spot
  • Arrange ground handling services and set up fuel release
  • Perform flight dispatch duties including but not limited to flight plan computing and filing, preparing weather briefing package and conducting crew briefing
  • Identify client hotel and ground transportation requirements and update in the FOS to ensure client expectations are met
  • Guarantee the flights feasibility, by checking information in the system, in order to promptly send the flight confirmation to client
  • Ensure that all data regarding the passengers on the trip is up to date and accurate to prevent issues for client
  • Communicate with client whenever there is a chance that an operational issue may affect their fight or flight related arrangements
  • Interact with client in non-standard, irregularities, conflict or complaint related situations in order to solve issues by actively addressing the specific issues, prevent reoccurrence and build upon client satisfaction
  • Any non-operational trip related queries will be passed to the relevant internal Metrojet business partner (Finance/ HR/ Flight Operations/ Lead Captains/ CAMO) for resolution, follow up and closure
  • Responsible for ongoing client care with the goal of developing and nurturing exceptional client relationships and through scheduled formal and informal client meetings on a regular basis
  • Track and optimise client outstanding accounts and any in-service special proposals and agreements
  • Perform any other duties as deem necessary by the Manager
  • Assist ad-hoc projects / tasks as instructed by the management

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in business, management, marketing or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in aviation or hospitality industry
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Capable of dealing with clients independently to understand and solve inquiries and problems
  • An understanding of the need for extreme confidentiality and discretion when handling all client information
  • Organized with a strong appreciation of structures and processes
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Presentable, mature and confident character
  • Capable to travel overseas occasionally
  • Must be able to work on flexible schedule and under shift pattern including roster on public holidays, weekends and may require working for overnight shift to fulfil operational needs

    Gulfstream 650 Pilot – Hong Kong Based

    Minimum Requirements

    • 5,000 hours total time, G650 type rating with 200 hours on type, 3,000 hours multi engine time, 2,000 hours multi crew jet and 3,000 hours PIC
    • Experienced G550 type rated pilots are also welcome, initial type rating will be provided
    • PI under supervision will not be counted as PIC time
    • PIC experience on similar turbine powered business jets
    • Holder of a valid FAA ATP license
    • Intensive flying experience in China is recommended
    • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese

    Manager Flight Training

    The purpose of this role is to lead the Flight Training Department and to ensure effective and efficient training of all flight crew members.
    Job Responsibilities:

      This position reports to the Managing Director of Aircraft Management and Charter through the DFO and is responsible for Line Training Captains, Authorized Examiners, and other flight crew training staff. Duties include:

    • Planning, managing and coordinating all activities relating to the initial and recurrent training and testing of flight crew.
    • Developing and implementing policies, systems, procedures and documentation for all flight crew training and testing; keeping them under continuous review.
    • Auditing outsourced training providers to ensure that the quality of the training meets Company requirements.
    • Producing training budgets and amendments to the Company’s training manual.
    • Ensuring that training staff are adequately trained and appropriately qualified and that they maintain a satisfactory standard of proficiency and standardization in their respective duties and that their examining authority remains valid.
    • Maintaining a close liaison with:
    • DFO in relation to training requirements and standards
    • Safety Department with regards to the Company SMS and quality issues
    • Manager Cabin Services (MCS) in relation to cabin crew training standards

    Job Requirements:

    • Experienced instructor and/or examiner
    • Experienced in business jet operations, especially experienced in the Asia Pacific Region
    • Thorough understanding of the applicable aviation authorities’ requirements
    • Valid and current ICAO ATPL
    • Type rated and current on one of the Metrojet managed aircraft types

Maintenance Manager, MEC

Responsible for managing and supervising all maintenance activities performed on aircraft and/or components, within the company’s regulatory approved capability. Responsible to ensure all maintenance is performed in accordance with OEM approved data and in compliance with the Regulatory Authority and Metrojet safety and performance standards. Oversee the scheduling and timely completion of maintenance projects and utilize approved licenses and company approvals to run maintenance projects and return aircraft to service. He will, in association with other personnel, provide customers with daily information on aircraft maintenance-related schedules and status.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with General Manager to establish and monitor the strategies and objectives to be followed to ensure that the Departmental goals are effectively achieved;
  • Direct, motivate, develop and control the Maintenance team, ensuring that the staff is provided with the essential training and knowledge, in order to maximize their performance;
  • Plan and monitor the yearly Maintenance operating budget to ensure both necessary resources are available and expense costs are reduced and improve maintenance capital;
  • Working with the General Manager to design and control a Maintenance Program for each company aircraft, approved by the National Aviation Authorities, in order to ensure that all scheduled maintenance is carried out on time by maintenance contractors according with the program, standards pre-defined and mandatory maintenance directives and requirements;
  • Reviewing aircraft status on a daily basis with the General Manager and relevant operations personnel to ensure that all scheduled maintenance is carried out efficiently with minimum down time;
  • Develop efficient relations with contracted maintenance organizations and aircraft manufactures, negotiate the maintenance contracts the quality of the service and approve the charges in order to select the best providers at the best price and a high level of service;
  • Ensure that pre-flight inspections are carried out in accordance with company procedures and Quality requirements to guarantee a high level of safety in all flights;
  • Supervise, motivate and direct the Maintenance and supporting team, in liaison with the General Manager, to ensure the team performs efficiently and guarantee that sufficient personnel are available for normal daily business and shift roster patterns are introduced as applicable;
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of fixed costs and capital expense budget;
  • Oversee all daily maintenance and planning activities to ensure that all maintenance actions are performed in maintenance services centers approved by Metrojet, efficiently and in a timely manner with minimum downtime;
  • Monitor and coordinate all unscheduled maintenance actions, providing recommendations to the maintenance personnel, in order to utilize allocated downtime in a safe and efficient manner;
  • Ensure that crew members are provided with all the required support concerning maintenance related issues, to guarantee the safety and reliability of the aircraft;
  • Liaise with Maintenance Control Personnel to provide additional solutions for associated systems discrepancies and improve maintenance actions effectiveness;
  • Review Availability and Reliability reports with Maintenance and Engineering to implement solutions for increasing aircraft availability and reliability enhance and MEL functionality where applicable;
  • Ensure that relevant departments from Flight Operations are informed of all maintenance related issues that could affect operations;
  • Directing the Certificate of Airworthiness for each aircraft operated by the Company remains valid in respect of the airworthiness of the aircraft, the calendar expiry date specified on the Certificate, and / or any other condition specified in the Certificate;
  • Ensure Inspection Work Orders are scheduled in accordance with approved Maintenance Program, Approved Maintenance Organizations are timely informed and changes are promptly communicated, in order to meet targets;
  • Ensure Work Orders are released to service in accordance with applicable regulations and company procedures to maintain aircraft safety, effective record keeping and minimum downtime;
  • Propose and develop internal procedures to meet regulations, monitor their compliance and communicate effectively any deviation to maintain department compliance with regulations;
  • Ensure that new FAA, CAAP, EASA, HKCAD and any other Metrojet approved authority’s regulations are promptly analyzed, possible company impact is effectively communicated, and applicable company procedures are updated accordingly;
  • Ensure that the company’s facilities, resources and procedures meet its business needs and comply with the necessary regulatory standards and controls as follows, to maintain:
    • Facilities appropriate to the planned work;
    • Office accommodation appropriate to the management of the planned work;
    • Working environment appropriate to the tasks being undertaken;
    • Storage facilities appropriate for parts, tools, equipment and materials
    • Sufficient competent personnel to plan, perform, supervise, inspect and certify the work being performed;
    • Sufficient tools, equipment and materials to perform the planned tasks;
    • All necessary maintenance data are filed and organized;
    • Procedures to achieve and exceed satisfactory maintenance practices and compliance with regulatory requirements and Company polices.
  • Responsible to ensure that the companies 6S policy if strictly adhered to and that the maintenance staff are properly trained on 6S requirements;
  • Manage departmental structure, employee development, training and planning;

Job Requirements:

  • 10 years or above of working experience in aviation industry and min. 5 years of experience in leading a sizable team, preferable on business aviation experience in Asia market.
  • Holder of FAA A&P maintenance license or equivalent and type rated on Global Express, CL604/605, G450, G550 or G650 is highly preferred.
  • Degree or above in Engineering or relevant disciplines
  • Proven knowledge and track record in delivering productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Liaison experience with the FAA, CAAP, EASA and/or other aviation industry agents.
  • Firm understanding of international travel, international customs and practices.
  • Working knowledge of inspection procedures, methods, equipment and accepted industry standards.
  • Detailed minded, excellent management skills, strong business acumen with reasonable level of financial literacy.
  • Good command in both written and spoken English.
