Requirement Criteria of Metrojet Career as Flight Attendant

  • Minimum 7 years of commercial flight attendant experience; supervisory levels or experiences in premium/ higher class services is a definite advantage

Senior Officer, Accounting

Manage and perform finance operation activities in relates to aircraft maintenance operation. Own the reconciliate and billing process. Provide financial insights to the aircraft maintenance operation. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for process collaboration. Collaborate with other finance team members to drive process improvement and technological enhancements.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Review and handle posting of Maintenance and Repair Office (MRO) related transactions
    • Handle daily accounting posting for billing and reconciliation
    • Analyze and prepare productivity and profitability reports for MRO’s operation
    • Generate statement of advice and manage accounts receivable
    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing & reporting
    • Assist in external audit
    • Maintain master data for SAP and MRO’s applications
    • Work with MRO team to resolve process issues
    • Recommend to supervisor for any process improvement opportunities for efficiency, control & compliance enhancement
    • Any ad hoc assignments as deemed necessary from supervisor

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
    • Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience in a commercial firm
    • Maintenance and Repair Office experience is a plus
    • Aviation industry knowledge is a plus
    • Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills
    • Hands-on experience with software like SAP Business One or any MRO application
    • Able to communicate in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin

    Supervisor, Accounting

    The primary responsibility of this position is to provide all finance related supports to the designated aircraft in a way to make sure the smooth and accurate accounting record to achieve objectives being set out by the senior management.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Act as the touchpoint for client’s finance team
      • Supervise the Account Receivable Team
      • Oversee the generation of the monthly billing cycle
      • Resolve disputed invoices with clients via collaboration with internal teams
      • Oversee the AR gaining report and identify action items
      • Manage daily incoming cash and settlement
      • Review and approve AR Teams journal entry
      • Perform quarterly review on AR account reconciliation
      • Handle full set of accounting issues of the designated aircraft
      • Work with HR to ensure monthly Payroll process and posting
      • Assist in month-end and year-end closing & reporting
      • Provide timely and comprehensive accounting and management reports of the designated aircraft for management review
      • Assist in external audit

      • Degree holder or above in accounting or relevant disciplines

      Technician

      The role is responsible for the support of maintenance actives and work pack compliance in line with company standards and NAA of relevant governing authority. This will cover both managed fleet and 3rd party maintenance events. To ensure that all maintenance activities performed on aircraft and/or components, within company’s regulatory approved capability.

        Job Responsibilities:

        • Ensure all scheduled or unscheduled maintenance tasks assigned are carried out on time and under appropriate procedure.
        • Update aircraft status (daily basis) to lead engineers to ensure all scheduled maintenance is carried out efficiently with minimum down time.
        • Ensure all maintenance work / inspections are carried out in accordance with company procedures and Quality requirements to guarantee a high level of safety standard.
        • Coordinate all unscheduled maintenance actions, providing recommendations to the maintenance personnel, in order to utilise allocated downtime in a safe and efficient manner.
        • Ensure techs are provided with all the necessary support concerning maintenance related issues, to guarantee the safety and reliability of the aircraft.
        • Ensure the Avionic workshop or working area always maintains neat and tidy condition.
        • Maintain good team collaborate and high moral.
        • Ensure all time bookings are accurate.
        • Any ad hoc assignments as deemed necessary from MRO management.

        Job Requirements:

        • Diploma or above in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
        • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within an aviation engineering workplace.
        • Good command in both spoken and written English.
        • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
        • Demonstrated and firm understanding of international travel, international customs and practices.
        • Working knowledge of inspection procedures, methods, equipment and accepted industry standards.

        Finance Analyst

        This role is to help the Director, Finance present true and fair view of our company’s financial data and to assist our businesses units to make informed decisions by collecting, tracking, correcting, and communicating the financial performances of the Company.

          Job Responsibilities:

          • Be responsible for monthly management reports preparation in an accuracy manner and on time delivery
          • Assist Director Finance in organizing and participating in monthly business review meeting with business leaders
          • Perform variance analysis to financial statement
          • Manage cost allocation model to reflect accurate financial interpretation
          • Build up profit and loss statement by business units and maintain it on time in monthly basis
          • Assist Director Finance in working with business leaders in annual budget exercise and forecast
          • Act as a business partner to provide financial recommendations to different business leaders
          • Review busines case and provide recommendations to the management board
          • Maintain cost center structure to properly reflect the revenue and cost driver
          • Support annual audit project together with Finance Controller
          • Recommend to the Director, Finance for any process improvement opportunities for efficiency, control and compliance enhancement

          Job Requirements:

          • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
          • At least 5 years or above working experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or relevant fields
          • Aviation industry knowledge is a plus
          • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the HK GAAP and IFRS
          • Hands-on experience with accounting software like SAP Business One
          • Advanced MS Excel skills
          • Experience with general ledger and consolidation functions
          • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

          • Commercial acumen with strong experience in process improvement and project management
