Accounting Officer, AMC

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide all finance related supports to the designated aircraft in a way to make sure the smooth and accurate accounting record to achieve objectives being set out by the senior management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle full set of accounting issues of the designated aircraft
  • Provide daily accounting support including preparation of invoices, credit notes, cheques, payment and receipts, journal voucher and general ledger
  • Provide timely and comprehensive accounting and management reports of the designated aircraft for management review
  • Prepare accounting reports, statistical and other reports as required by the management or customers
  • Follow up the overdue accounts
  • Resolve disputed invoices with clients via collaboration with internal teams
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing & reporting
  • Assist in external audit
  • Recommend to the Manager Finance for any process improvement opportunities for efficiency, control & compliance enhancement
  • Any ad hoc assignments as deemed necessary from direct manager

Job Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma holder or above in Accounting or relevant disciplines
  • Min 3 years of accounting experience in a commercial firm
  • Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills and knowledgeable in SAP is preferable
  • Able to communicate in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Mature, independent and able to work with minimum supervision

Key Account Manager

Job Descriptions:

  • Respond to all client’s operational and non-operational queries, problems and general issues, with the assistance of subject matter experts

    Senior Officer – Billing and Warranty, HKMRO

    Job Descriptions:

    • Pre-billing clean-ups in Corridor, of labour, materials and outside services, to ensure actual work performed, parts fitted on the aircraft are all issued to the work packs in Corridor system, with the correct pricing/mark-ups
    • Liaise with Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning, and MRO Sales colleagues to ensure work packs data for billing are complete and accurate
    • Handle warranty claims with the OEMs
    • Maintain list of warrantied tasks granted below the actual hour booked to share with the MRO team for review
    • Act as the focal point of contact for Senior Accounting Officer for MRO Billing to help find answers/solutions, and resolve disputes from customers, by working with the MRO operation teams
    • Maintain work orders in Corridor for OT records of production, stores, procurement, MCC and Production Planning and subsequent submission to HR
    • Maintain work orders in Corridor for monthly non productivity task, outstation Technical support in Clark, and HKBAC cleaning

      Lead / Safety & Quality Engineer

      Key Accountabilities:

      • Carry out, in accordance with the set programs, auditing of Metrojet Limited (MTJ) Technical Activities or agents operated aircraft, facilities, related functions and procedures to ensure compliance with the MTJ procedures, support agreement and airworthiness authority’s standards and requirements for its aircraft types
      • Reporting on all significant airworthiness and certification matters to the Manager Quality Assurance (MQA) in the manner prescribed in the Metrojet Maintenance Procedures (MMP)
      • Analyse the findings and results from audits, draw conclusions, make recommendations and monitor remedial actions for any reported deviation or discrepancy
      • Raise accurate and concise technical reports at the conclusion of any investigation, or audit
      • Support the running of the company staff Authorisation system, including assessment of staff
      • To bring to the attention of the MQA any trends or events that may affect the smooth running of the section or compromise the company’s compliance with the responsible National Airworthiness Authority’s (NAA) rules and regulations
      • Carry out investigations into significant defects and/or incidents/accidents related to quality and standards of all MTJ aircrafts, and those of its customers
      • Maintain proper co-operation and liaison with other groups within the Quality Assurance and CAMO Sections to ensure that all aspects of the CAMO Department are operating as intended
      • Assist with the drafting, review and control of MTJ technical documents, such as MMPs, MME, RSM and TPM
      • Supervision, training (O.J.T) and guidance of all staff that may be placed under his/her control

       
      Job Specifications

      • Qualified with a Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or related disciplines
      • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in aircraft engineering and quality assurance
      • Holder of valid HKCAD License or equivalent in base maintenance level environment, desirable

      Client Services Officer

      Job Descriptions:

      • First point of contact between client and Metrojet flight operations services
      • Responsible for managing and overseeing the successful completion of each client trip and any other post and preflight issues, enquiries and client requests
      • Response to all client messages to assist in their specific enquiries, new flight reservation requests and changes on the existing reservations, in a prompt, consultative, personalized and efficient way in order to guarantee that the client needs are met and exceeded
      • Provide information to client regarding airports, restrictions, aircraft performance, documents required for travel and other details in order to deliver an uncompromisingly and efficient level of services
      • Update the flight details of new reservations and or changes accurately and promptly in the scheduling system – Flight Operation System (“FOS”) to ensure that all relevant departments have the correct and necessary data to fulfill client request
      • Obtain landing and overfly permit, airport runway slot and parking spot
      • Arrange ground handling services and set up fuel release
      • Perform flight dispatch duties including but not limited to flight plan computing and filing, preparing weather briefing package and conducting crew briefing
      • Identify client hotel and ground transportation requirements and update in the FOS to ensure client expectations are met
      • Guarantee the flights feasibility, by checking information in the system, in order to promptly send the flight confirmation to client
      • Ensure that all data regarding the passengers on the trip is up to date and accurate to prevent issues for client
      • Communicate with client whenever there is a chance that an operational issue may affect their fight or flight related arrangements
      • Interact with client in non-standard, irregularities, conflict or complaint related situations in order to solve issues by actively addressing the specific issues, prevent reoccurrence and build upon client satisfaction
      • Any non-operational trip related queries will be passed to the relevant internal Metrojet business partner (Finance/ HR/ Flight Operations/ Lead Captains/ CAMO) for resolution, follow up and closure
      • Responsible for ongoing client care with the goal of developing and nurturing exceptional client relationships and through scheduled formal and informal client meetings on a regular basis
      • Track and optimise client outstanding accounts and any in-service special proposals and agreements
