Who We Are and What We Offer

Metrojet was added to The Kadoorie group of companies' aviation portfolio in 1995 to demonstrate the utility of business aviation in Hong Kong, China and throughout Asia. The Group has led the way in business aviation beginning with its establishment in 1979 of Heliservices (Hong Kong) Ltd.

The Group is also a substantial investor in the Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company (HAECO), the first and largest aircraft maintenance organization in Hong Kong.

Ever a pioneer, the Kadoorie Group built Hong Kong's first rooftop helicopter pad on its world-renowned Peninsula Hong Kong hotel.

These personal and professional aviation interests led the Group to establish Rotair Ltd, the MD Helicopter distributor for Hong Kong and Macau.

The Group was also called upon to provide its leadership and expertise in the development of Hong Kong's first Business Aviation Center at the new Hong Kong international airport. We accepted the challenge and, in addition to being a major shareholder, have provided the other shareholders the benefit of our aviation experience to make the Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre the best in Asia.

Only Metrojet has the experience and network of contacts to ensure speedy access to China and other major countries within the region. Metrojet flies to all destinations within Asia, including China, and serves the major cities as well as the seldom-serviced secondary airports.

We draw on our unique operational experience and regional expertise to expedite the necessary overflight and landing permits, handle customs and immigration, clearances and baggage transfer.

We specialize in flying to small cities and towns in China, a luxury not afforded non-China registered aircraft. Flying directly to our passenger's destination provides the fastest way to visit any number of metropolitan areas. Furthermore, our jets are available 24 hours a day.

Our services are also the most flexible transportation option available. Flight schedules are determined by your business agenda - if plans change, so can flight times and destinations. If time is short or the location lacking, Metrojet's aircraft can serve as your private business center where confidential meetings can be held on the ground or en route to your next destination.

Metrojet's specialized operational know-how ensures that landing permits and clearances are ready when needed and is backed by many years of technical experience.

Our aircraft are equipped with sophisticated avionics systems and flown by highly experienced and well-trained expatriate pilots who undergo recurrent ground training, biannual flight checks by civil aviation authorities, and simulator training in the US. In addition, to the flight crew our flights include the services of a cabin attendant to make your flight as enjoyable as possible.

We have a specially trained team of engineers dedicated to our aircraft. The maintenance professionals' sole duty is to ensure the aircraft meets the stringent standards set by Hong Kong's safety regulators (some of the highest standards in the world) by constantly reviewing and updating systems and procedures.
